   To identify the physical and socio- economic resources at block level which play a vital role in adopting the result of cropping system study of West Bengal. The objective is to identify the places where the change in cropping patterns is desirable and to prescribe the methods to improve the efficiency of farm utilization to analyze the long term effects of using cropping system simulation models and also to identify the alternative sustainable practices.
